EDGE Motorworks was founded in 2002 by Solo racers and BMW enthusiasts Erik Lind and Gordon White. We saw a need in the service and performance community for a different kind of shop, one where the social interaction was as important as the mechanical interaction, where honesty and integrity came first, and where the customer always got a fair deal.

From our humble beginnings in Erik's garage, we quickly grew, and in early 2004 we opened our Golden Gate Drive facility to the BMW and Mini community. Thanks to our committment to excellence and service, our customer base has continued to grow. The EDGE staff has expanded to six people, all of whom share our enthusiasm for the cars we love and the people who drive them.
